This is so exciting to me. Rogers Marvel Architects, PLLC of New York, made up of Jennifer Carpenter, Jonathan Marvel and Rob Rogers started TRUCK Product Architecture in 2000. Not only is their portfolio of architectural work so inspiring to me, but the product architecture they’ve produced really gets me going. We sometimes, in our minds think of the different design disciplines so independently, but when they intersect, I believe we get some of the most interesting, innovative and functional objects out of it.

They started off designing custom furniture and fixtures for clients, began producing a few limited edition pieces themselves, but have now teamed up with other manufacturers in an effort to bring their great designs to more people at more accessible prices. I love that!
For all of their product architecture, go the TRUCK website and there are links to their partner manufacturers and retailers like the above mentioned Nurserworks, Mikasa and Design Public, just to name a few. And if you are in Bloomingdales anytime soon, check out their retail fixtures that they’ve designed for kate spade home.
I totally credit my ‘sister’ in architecture, Annisia (who works here) for enlightening me about them and their work.
